Job Description
Role: Marketing Analyst
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + Benefits
Location: Tarporley, Chester - 2-3 days p/w on site
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience with CRO, SEO, PPC, Paid Media and campaign analytics is essential
- Previous experience in SQL or Big Query
- Strong understanding of core marketing metrics, attribution models, and the customer journey.
- Experience with digital marketing platforms (eg, Google Analytics)
- A proactive problem-solver with a proven ability to go beyond surface-level metrics to uncover actionable insights and commercial opportunities.
- Experience creating clear, effective, and compelling dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and tell a story to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Performance Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analysis on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, channels (eg, paid media, email, SEO), and initiatives. Provide regular performance reports and actionable recommendations to marketing stakeholders.
- Data Modelling & Reporting: Design, build, and maintain robust data models and dashboards to track key marketing KPIs, such as customer acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), conversion rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Experimentation & A/B Testing: Design and analyse A/B tests and other experiments to measure the impact of new creative, audience segments, and campaign strategies. Present findings and recommendations to improve future performance
- Audience and Customer Insight: Analyse customer data to understand audience segmentation, behaviour, and preferences. Use these insights to help the marketing team target campaigns more effectively and personalize content
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Marketing, Pricing, and Product teams to align on data needs and translate commercial goals into a robust analytical framework.
- Tool & Skill Development: Stay current with the latest trends and tools in marketing analytics, continuously improving technical skills in data tooling and analytical methodologies.
