A digital media organization is seeking a Marketing Consultant to lead the definition, design, and implementation of a harmonized global customer journey. Sitting within our Marketing Effectiveness function, this role will be a key enabler of our omni-channel transformation strategy, ensuring that both visitors and exhibitors enjoy a consistent, data-driven, and customer-centric experience.
The successful candidate will own the end-to-end customer journey framework across our global footprint-driving alignment, enhancing marketing ROI, and improving retention and lifetime value.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Journey Leadership
- Develop and own the global customer journey framework to harmonize marketing practices across markets and business units.
- Identify and define "moments that matter" for visitors and exhibitors, ensuring consistent experiences and messaging.
- Partner with global and regional marketing teams to embed journey-led thinking into campaign design and execution.
Data Architecture & Insights
- Build clear data journey architecture to support actionable insights and advanced analytics.
- Define how customer journey touchpoints connect to KPIs, including brand equity, visitor value, and exhibitor revenue.
- Identify churn and conversion drop-off points; design win-back strategies and retention programs.
Marketing Effectiveness & Measurement
- Establish consistent global KPIs to measure customer experience, CLTV, and marketing effectiveness.
- Ensure omni-channel campaigns are audience-led, based on customer needs and life cycle stages.
- Align marketing metrics to demonstrate tangible impact on revenue, retention, and growth.
Enablement & Technology
- Leverage advanced profiling, segmentation, and automation technologies to optimize journeys.
- Partner with technology teams to reduce friction caused by disconnected systems and processes.
- Champion marketing automation and data-driven decision-making across teams worldwide.
Desired Skills
- Proven experience in customer journey mapping, marketing effectiveness, or marketing strategy within global organizations.
- Strong expertise in data-driven marketing, segmentation, and CLTV measurement.
- Deep understanding of omni-channel marketing practices (digital, experiential, direct, content-led).
- Track record of implementing customer experience frameworks in complex, global environments.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across cultures and regions.
- Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to deliver in fast-paced environments.
