Overview 
Dexcom Corporation (NASDAQ DXCM) is a pioneer and global leader in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM).
Shift ScheduleThis role will transition to the Backend Day Shift in Q4 2026. It will consist of 12 hour day shifts every Friday to Sunday and alternate Thursdays, following a repeating 4 on/3 off - 3 on/4 off schedule. Shift Premium: 15% premium only for Saturday/Sunday, no shift premium for Thursday/Friday.
Responsibilities- Provide technical support to equipment engineers for the improvement, installation, validation and transfer of replicate custom automated equipment used in the scale up of manufacturing for existing or new Dexcom products.
- Support cross functional equipment deployment teams and coordinate with outside suppliers to meet equipment specifications and timelines.
- Work with schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, and defined plans to perform testing, checkout and troubleshooting functions.
- Test the performance of electro mechanical assemblies using test equipment.
- Operate, test, or maintain robotic equipment and vision systems.
- Analyze and record test results and prepare written documentation.
- Perform operational tests and fault isolation on automated systems and equipment.
- Carry out equipment development activities under the supervision of the project engineer, including the assembly and testing of equipment, fixtures, processes and/or electronics, and completing engineering studies and validations.
- Follow Dexcom's Safety and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) program and perform all assigned tasks with appropriate safety requirements.
- Update equipment related documentation (manuals, drawings, and specifications) as needed.
- Assume and perform other duties as assigned.
- Level 6/7 qualification and a minimum of 5-8 years of related experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical documents related to equipment specifications.
- Ability to write routine reports, pass downs, and correspondence.
- Effective presentation skills and the ability to respond to questions from supervisors, engineers, and managers.
- Knowledge and experience with PLC and automated production/process equipment (essential).
- Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, electro mechanical systems, and resistance welders (highly desirable).
- Experience with process improvement projects, such as improving yields or reducing downtime.
- Proven ability to work hands on in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and personal interaction skills.
- Knowledge of high reliability, high volume manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Technical writing skills applied to manufacturing documentation and process development; experience creating and revising technical documentation.
