You will be the Manufacturing Support Team Member for our Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) team in Chelmsford, MA.

What You Will Be Doing:

This full time, on site position reports directly to the Site Facilities Manager and acts as a liaison to the Production Operations leadership teams.

As the Manufacturing Support Team Member, you will be the primary point of contact for day to day facilities operations across all MFC Chelmsford locations.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining and reconciling purchase orders and invoices, processing cost estimate requests for production, keeping vendor liability certificates and contractor background check files current, and tracking equipment failure records.
  • Managing the maintenance request system - reviewing tickets, updating priorities, assisting users, and uploading revised drawings - and supporting space planning projects by updating moves, defining spaces, and monitoring occupancy.
  • In facilities management, creating and maintaining job plans, procedures, and preventative maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance and timely execution, and handling access control for shared folders and document versioning.
  • Strong communication with internal teams, vendors, and contractors is essential, as is flexibility to adapt to enterprise system changes and provide off shift support when required. This role will partner cross functionally with Operations, Industrial Engineering, Facilities Operations, and site leadership to drive timely actions, clearly communicate priorities, and help maintain or monitor performance dashboards and reports used by enterprise or facilities leadership.

Requirements:

Citizenship and Clearance: Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance. Clearance Level: Secret.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Desired Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in PO and vendor management systems.
Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.

Work Schedule and Compensation:

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in Massachusetts is $60,600 - $106,835.
