Manufacturing Research Engineer

We are looking for a contract engineer to develop a technical specification for new Automated Fibre Placement (AFP) equipment.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements from engineering, project, and business stakeholders

• Liaise with customers and equipment suppliers

• Produce a clear technical specification for AFP equipment

• Support supplier discussions and procurement activities

Requirements

• Experience specifying complex industrial equipment

• Strong technical specification writing capability

• Confident stakeholder and supplier engagement

• AFP, advanced manufacturing experience

• Composites, aerospace / automotive background

Contract Details

• 6-month contract

• Hybrid in Bristol

• Negotiable rate Inside IR35
