Job Description

Our client are seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician (Electrical) to be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving automated manufacturing equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency. The role involves both electrical and mechanical support within a regulated medical device production environment, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. This is an on site and shift based role.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and troubleshoot to repair faults in electrical and mechanical systems on automated production equipment
• Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize production downtime
• Execute scheduled preventative maintenance tasks
• Work closely with engineers, production, and quality teams
• Adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and company procedures
• Ensure all work complies with regulatory and safety standards
• Identify and order spare parts

Key Requirements

• Mechanical maintenance skills
• Hands on experience with electrical systems and troubleshooting
• Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing or industrial environment
• Knowledge of GMP and regulated environments
• Experience with automated and high speed production equipment
• Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, motors, drives is advantageous.
