Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join the Assembly team. You will be responsible for developing and supporting manufacturing processes with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement manufacturing solutions aligned with safety and compliance standards
• Support production integration and manage tooling and planning from concept to execution
• Apply Zero Defect Manufacturing and Lean tools to drive process improvements
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for vendor quality and scheduling issues
• Oversee product and process development, ensuring performance metrics are met
• Promote collaboration across teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Over 10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, ideally in aerospace
• Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Automotive Engineering
• Hands-on experience with machining (milling, mill-turn, boring, honing) and surface treatment processes (heat treatment, plating, shot-peen, NDI)
• Knowledge of ISO9000, AS9100, or D1-9000 quality systems
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles
• Experience with new product/process industrialisation
