What is it like to be a Manufacturing and Process Engineering Manager at DHV Technology?


As a Manufacturing and Process Engineering Manager at DHV Technology, you will lead a multidisciplinary technical team composed of manufacturing engineers, process engineers, and draftsmen. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising technical activities across manufacturing projects, ensuring smooth execution of operations and continuous improvement in a high-tech space industry environment.

This role is both strategic and operational, with direct influence on production performance, process optimization, and cross-departmental coordination. Your leadership will be key to maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and innovation throughout our manufacturing operations.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead, coordinate, and supervise a multidisciplinary technical team including manufacturing engineers, process engineers, and draftsmen.
  • Manage the creation, review, approval, and follow-up of technical documentation and work orders, ensuring balanced workload and proper project assignments based on expertise.
  • Ensure risk management and compliance with standards and requirements during change management processes affecting manufacturing.
  • Coordinate transversal workload within the team to meet production, quality, and special project milestones and objectives.
  • Implement and monitor manufacturing workflows, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
  • Drive and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing processes, tools, fixtures, and facilities.
  • Oversee technical tests and validations, including standard and non-standard processes, and approve their execution.
  • Ensure manufacturing process flows are effectively defined, documented, and approved for project use.
  • Maintain fluent communication and coordination with Design Engineering, Quality, Project Management, and Commercial departments.
  • Supervise and promote the efficient use and continuous updating of digital tools and documentation platforms within the team and in collaboration with other departments.
  • Identify team training needs, coordinate development plans, and evaluate team performance and growth in collaboration with technical stakeholders.


Job Requirements:


Academic Background:

  • University degree in Industrial, Aerospace, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, or similar fields.


Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in leading manufacturing or process engineering teams, preferably in the space or high-tech industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams.


Knowledge and Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of technical documentation management and digital manufacturing tools.
  • Solid understanding of high-tech manufacturing processes.
  • Proven ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives and optimize industrial operations.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.


Languages:

  • Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written) is required for daily communication and technical documentation.
