Salary: £40,500 - £44,850 Per Annum
Shift:Weekends (Friday - Sunday, 34.5 Hours)

A great opportunity to join a team on nightsworking within multiple sectorsas a manual turner. You'll play a key role in working on one-off and small batch projects, this is a hands on position which will involve using a range of manual machines.

Manual Turner Responsibilities:

• Operate manual centre lathes, including Heavy duty machines
• Machining one-off or small batch projects
• Breakdown, repair and modification work
• Work from technical drawings and specifications to determine machining operations
• Working on internal and external threads

Manual Turner Experience:

• Five years' experience in a Manual turning or machining position
• Previous experience working on Colchester lathes
• Ability to interpret technical drawings with excellent attention to detail
• Quality measuring devices micrometres, verniers, etc.
