Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual QA Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating software quality by executing test cases, identifying defects, documenting findings, and ensuring that applications meet functional requirements. You will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure issues are resolved efficiently, delivering a consistent and error-free user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute manual test cases and report defects effectively.

  • Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing to validate software.

  • Analyze requirements and ensure that test coverage aligns with business and functional specifications.

  • Document test results, maintain test cases, and create test plans in QA management tools (eg, Jira, Azure DevOps).

  • Collaborate with developers and BAs to resolve issues and verify fixes.

  • Support API testing and other non-GUI validations as needed.

  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

  • Follow QA best practices and standards to ensure high-quality deliverables.

  • [Optional] Assist with test automation initiatives (knowledge of automation tools is a plus).

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong experience in test case creation and execution (manual testing).

  • Proficiency in functional, regression, and exploratory testing.

  • Ability to analyze requirements and identify test scenarios.

  • Experience with defect reporting and QA management tools (Jira, ADO, etc.).

  • Knowledge of API testing (manual).

  • Strong documentation and organizational skills.

  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Awareness of QA best practices and industry standards.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with test automation tools or frameworks.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • years of experience in manual QA testing or software quality assurance.
