Managers Control Self-Assessment (MCA) Group Manager, SVP

Individuals in MCA are responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive and robust Managers Control Self-Assessment (MCA), also known as Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), and the execution of control activities, thereby improving the identification and remediation of significant control issues and operational risk events in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction through a large team of professionals and/or junior managers.
- Drive optimization and efficiencies in projects.
- Assist management in guiding and influencing decisions that conform to business objectives.
- Manage the execution of control activities in support of the MCA program, also known as Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA).
- Oversee the MCA program, including attestation processes, quality oversight, and reporting.
- Identify, analyze, and assess potential risks, ensuring timely remediation of control issues and operational events.
- Ensure MCA execution aligns with ORM Policy & Framework, Policies, Standards, and Procedures.
- Develop and maintain ORM tools and methodologies for accurate risk and control assessments.
- Monitor KPIs and evaluate the effectiveness of risk controls.
- Propose enhancements to the MCA process as needed.
- Implement robust tracking and reporting of MCA activities, highlighting risk concerns and escalation points.
- Champion best practices and ensure consistency in MCA execution across functions.
Qualifications:
- Experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit, or control functions within financial services.
- Ability to identify, measure, and manage key risks and controls.
- Proven track record leading control-related projects and programs.
- Strong strategic thinking with attention to detail.
- Experience in process improvement and strategy implementation.
- Deep knowledge of Citi's businesses, risk profiles, and policies.
- Ability to challenge and recommend risk and control remediation strategies.
- Expertise in developing and executing controls.
- Experience in implementing sustainable solutions and process improvements.
- Understanding of compliance laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Education:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
