Manager, Quality Services, AWS Wickr

Would manage DAs and SMEs, and will report to the Ops Manager. An Ops manager should have the ability to mentor/coach DAs/SMEs and ensure the test case execution process is managed well. The Ops manager will be the point of contact for the DAs, SMEs, and QAEs for clarification queries, project execution, and work allocation. Additionally, the Ops manager will look at process optimizations and bring improvements in quality and productivity. Responsibilities also include managing daily floor operations, creating reports, reviewing operator/DA performance regularly, and ensuring productivity and quality deliverables are met. The Ops manager will be responsible for the performance management of all DAs and auditors reporting to him/her.

Key job responsibilities

The Ops manager will manage DAs and SMEs, report to the Ops Manager, mentor/coach team members, and oversee test case execution. They will serve as the primary contact for clarifications and project coordination, identify process improvements, and manage daily operations. They will review performance metrics and ensure quality and productivity standards are maintained. Performance management of team members is also a key responsibility.

The daily responsibilities include managing DAs and SMEs, mentoring and coaching, handling project execution, process optimization, daily operations, reporting, and performance reviews, ensuring deliverables are met.

About the team

The Quality Services (QS) organization provides testing support for Devices, Retail, and AWS products, focusing on manual testing including regression and new feature testing.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of team management experience
• Knowledge of Windows desktop environment and applications like Word, Excel, IE, Firefox
• Experience using data to influence business decisions
• Experience managing and developing front-line managers in operations, projects, or programs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in quality assurance/testing, mobile industry, or Internet of Things (IoT)
• Experience managing project delivery
