Manager, Project Execution (Senior Project Manager - Large Projects Team, Schneider Electric Ireland)
About the RoleSchneider Electric Ireland is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large, complex customer projects across Electrical, Controls, Automation, and Digital solutions. The role involves managing projects from strategy to delivery, ensuring safety, quality, and commercial success, and engaging with multinational stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the full lifecycle of complex customer projects across all in country technology scopes.
- Drive project strategy, execution, delivery quality, and customer outcomes.
- Ensure all project activities comply with company standards, local regulations, and safety policies.
- Take full ownership of project P&L, including margin management, cash flow, and commercial performance.
- Conduct accurate cost reporting, forecasting, and financial risk analysis.
- Manage contractual obligations, claims, variations, and commercial negotiations.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, commercial, and delivery risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure rigorous adherence to safety requirements and promote a strong safety culture.
- Support internal governance processes and maintain high standards of documentation and compliance.
- Collaborate with multi disciplinary internal teams and engage externally with customers, partners, contractors, and suppliers.
- Maintain strong customer relationships focused on transparency, communication, and satisfaction.
- Leverage expertise of Engineering, Business Units, and supply chain to ensure robust design, delivery, and integration.
- Support knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and best practice adoption within the Large Projects team.
- Experience in project management within Electrical, Controls, Automation, or Contracting industries.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills across diverse functions.
- Proven track record of delivering large scale, complex, multi disciplinary projects.
- Strong commercial, contractual, and financial management skills.
- Experience managing project P&L, forecasting, and cost control.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Strong capability in risk management and project governance.
- Desirable: experience with equipment vendors, software solutions, or construction/contracting environment.
- Desired qualifications: BEng/MEng in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Software, etc., and certifications such as PMP, Prince2.
- Familiarity with Schneider Electric's technology portfolio or similar energy/automation platforms.
