Manager IT Logistics (80-100%)  

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of one of our long-standing clients - an international MedTech company driven by innovation, precision, and quality.
Currently strengthening their global IT Operations & Logistics division we are now are looking for an experienced and hands-on Manager IT Logistics to lead and evolve their logistics systems across multiple production sites worldwide.

You will play a key role at the intersection of technology, operations, and process excellence, ensuring that digital systems and physical logistics flow seamlessly together in a highly regulated production environment.

Your Profile

  • Solid technical background and proven leadership experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics IT, manufacturing systems, or process digitalization.

  • Deep understanding of SAP WM/EWM; experience with CAQ, MES, or automation systems (AGV, intralogistics, traceability) is highly valued.

  • Background in purchasing, warehouse management, quality, or maintenance.

  • Experience in GMP, ISO13485, or other regulated environments is an advantage.

  • Education: Technical degree (eg HF Technician) or university degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across international teams.

  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic development and continuous improvement of IT Logistics in a global manufacturing context.

  • Manage, coach, and expand a skilled IT Logistics team (currently six members).

  • Oversee international rollouts and the setup of new production sites in North America, China, Germany, and Switzerland (approx. 10% travel).

  • Drive the implementation of a new, group-wide CAQ system and support the digitalization of intralogistics through automation and AGV (Automated Guided Vehicles).

  • Ensure smooth integration of SAP WM/EWM and related systems across supply chain, quality, and maintenance functions.

  • Build a strong network of stakeholders across IT, Operations, and Quality teams to ensure alignment and project success.

  • Manage budgets, resource planning, and project roadmaps within your scope.
