If you share our values and our passion to build a future that's more sustainable, resilient and inclusive, you'll find a home at Lloyd's - build a braver future with us.Lloyd's are seeking to recruit a Manager Financial Risk on an FTC (Fixed Term Contract) The role is responsible for ensuring the effective management of the financial risks faced by Lloyd's, with a focus on those impacting the capital or assets of both the Corporation and the wider Lloyd's market. Principal Accountabilities Commercial Awareness with the ability to link market developments in capital / investment to potential implications for Lloyd's risk profileConsulting-style skillset advantageous, communication, structured problem-solving and ability to deliver high-quality outputs in a timely manner.Project management experience, ideally in a financial services or advisory context, with a track record of managing multiple stakeholders and delivering complex workstreams.Insurance Industry and/or deal knowledge within financial services (e.g. Transactions, structuring, securitisation, ILS, alternative reinsurance, capital markets etc.)Understanding of capital flows in the financial system, including the role of institutional investors and alternative capital providers.Familiarity with the composition and risk profile of alternative assets (e.g. Private equity, private credit, real assets) and how they interact with insurance balance sheets is advantageous.Ability to assess investment risk considerations (incl. Asset/liability correlations, concentration risk, emerging systemic risks, liquidity risk etc.) particularly from new or complex capital inflowsRisk mindset : ability to identify, monitor and challenge investment, liquidity credit and correlation risks in line with a second line oversight role. Skills and Experience Stakeholder management and influencing skills.Qualifications: CFA charterholder or Actuary (FIA) highly advantageous, though not mandatoryWritten and verbal communication skills, with ability to distil technical and risk insights into clear, actionable recommendations for committees & senior management.Breadth of experience of risk management frameworks and methodology with detailedTrack record of delivery of strategic risk lead initiatives and subject matter authorityExperience of investment risks and financial marketsExperience in risk and capital modelling including Economic Scenario GeneratorsNature of key Financial Risk including capital, investment and liquidity riskDiversity and inclusion are a focus for us - Lloyd's aim is to build a diverse, inclusive environment that reflects the global markets we work in.
