About the Position

Art on Main is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and we are looking for an energetic, collaborative, and flexible individual to serve as part time gallery manager ( hrs./week, salaried). The schedule can vary during our busiest seasons such as fall foliage and the holidays.

Responsibilities

• Day to day retail operations, including working within a tight budget.
• Artist, volunteer, and community relations.
• Exhibit and event planning, orchestration, and representation of the gallery in the community.
• Other administrative tasks to support the board of trustees and community volunteers.

Qualifications

• Retail and merchandising experience (preferred).
• Strong technical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for the gallery's mission and the creative endeavors of Vermont artists.
