Library of Things Manager
Location: Bedminster, BS3
Salary: £13.45 per hour
Hours: Part-Time minimum of 21 hrs a week

This organisation needs a new Manager to their Bedminster Library of Things, working with the rest of their small team of staff and volunteers to make borrowing as convenient as buying.
The successful candidate will oversee the Bedminster Library of Things, ensuring it meets the needs of the local community, and will work in partnership with the rest of the organisation to ensure the success of this charity and their Library of Things service.
This role is responsible for the day to day running of the Bedminster location, recruiting and supporting volunteers, helping to engage with partner organisations, managing space bookings, managing the Thing donations and inventory, and assisting current and potential members.
They are looking for someone to start as soon as possible, and work around 21 hours a week.
The 21 hours per week are to include the following hours onsite in Bedminster.
- Mondays 17:00 - 19:00
- Wednesdays 12:00 - 14:00
- Fridays 12:00 - 14:00
- Saturdays 10:00-14:00
- Other hours can be worked flexibly either on or off-site.
The working hours will be mainly around when the Library is open for lending sessions. This charity is accredited with the Living Wage Foundation, so you know you will be paid fairly, and you benefit from free membership of the organisation, so you can borrow whatever you want, whenever you want, for free!
