Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Manager for our Deal Advisory department in the Cork office. The role involves leading buy side and sell side financial due diligence engagements and supporting the growth of this high growth area.

Responsibilities

• Manage buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements across various sectors, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Analyse financial and operational data to identify key business drivers, risks, and deal issues.
• Prepare and present clear, concise reports and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams, including tax, legal, and operational due diligence.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the deal lifecycle.
• Support business development activities, including proposal writing and pitch presentations.
• Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Analyse and assist with the preparation of valuation reports.
• Assist with sale and purchase mandates, MBO and MBI assignments.

Qualifications

• ACA / ACCA / CFA qualified or equivalent.
• 5+ years of Transaction Advisory Services, preferably financial due diligence, at an established practice.
• Strong project management and leadership capabilities.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools; experience with Alteryx, Power BI, or similar is a plus.
• Fluency in English.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Industry experience with an interest in returning to a professional services environment.
