Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner

Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking for a role that combines end-to-end management accounts with real finance business partnering?

This is a broad, hands-on role within a medium to large business, offering ownership of monthly management accounts alongside budgeting, forecasting, commercial analysis and systems improvement projects.

Working as part of a small finance team and reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll partner closely with operational and senior stakeholders, helping them understand performance, challenge results and support decision-making.

• Full end-to-end preparation of management accounts

• Month end close including accruals, prepayments, journals and balance sheet reconciliations

• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis

• Business partnering with operational teams

• Development of MI and reporting

• Support for year-end audit and ad-hoc projects

• Involvement in systems implementation and improvements

• Proven management accounts experience (essential)

• Background in a medium to large organisation

• Comfortable working with non-finance stakeholders

• Systems implementation experience highly desirable

• Ideally ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified, but strong QBE candidates will be considered
