Job Description

The Management Accountant acts as a strategic financial partner across two distinct entities, bridging the gap between high-level financial reporting and day-to-day operational efficiency. The role is focused on driving continuous improvement through rigorous cost control, stock valuation, and collaborative decision-making with the Senior Management Team.

Description

The core of the role involves high-level analysis and hands-on operational support:

  • Financial Integrity: Performing regular P&L and Balance Sheet reviews and maintaining robust financial stewardship over business-wide projects.

  • Operational Optimisation: Collaborating with teams to control costs, improve sales margins, and ensure accurate stock costing vital task in a retail production environment.

  • Strategic Planning: Managing budgets, strategic forecasts, capital expenditure (CapEx), and competitor analysis.

  • New Revenue Streams: Providing financial oversight for the E-commerce section and analysing new retail sales channels.

  • Systems Development: Working with IT to evolve the ERP system to improve data quality and optimise production output.
