Management Accountant

This is an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a thriving SME in Medway. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in producing monthly management accounts and be flexible to cover Payroll when required.

Description

Management Accountant responsibilities include;

• Posting month-end journals and conducting periodic P&L reviews
• Managing budgeting and forecasting processes
• Maintain prepayment and accrual schedules, fixed asset records, lease assets, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Oversee VAT returns and other statutory submissions.
• Preparation of year end accounts, audit management and external financial reporting processes
• Support the Payroll Manager with producing payroll during absence or annual leave cover.
• Support subcontractor payment processing and CIS submissions.

Profile

The successful Management Accountant should have:

• A formal qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) is preferred however will consider QBE
• Previous commercial and management accounting experience required
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across departments.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving business.
• Previous construction experieince is advantageous.

Job Offer

• Competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £55,000 per annum.
