Management Accountant

We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to work for a successful and growing SME based in Colchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional looking to make a real impact in supporting with financial reporting, controls, and the commercial performance of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and provide financial analysis.
• Support budgeting and cashflow forecasting.
• Monitor costs and drive efficiency improvements.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset register.
• Manage VAT returns and indirect tax compliance.
• Overseeing bank reconciliations and cash reporting.
• Support year-end close and statutory reporting.

Skills & Experience:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or part-qualified or qualified by experience - with relevant work experience.
• Experience in a working within a SME environment
• Strong knowledge of management accounts
• Experience with cloud accounting systems
