Maintenance Technician

We are working with a leading manufacturing company in County Clare to find an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their evening shift team. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role sitting within the AU Fill-Pack Value Stream and reporting to the Production Supervisor.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 4pm to midnight

Friday: 3pm to 10pm

What You Will Be Doing

• Identifying and implementing permanent fixes for recurring equipment downtime issues.
• Root causing electrical faults from 24V DC up to 3-phase systems.
• Liaising with Production Supervisors and Coordinators on equipment priorities.
• Applying Lean and continuous improvement tools to drive lasting process improvements.
• Managing shift handovers and ensuring full EHS compliance throughout.

What We Are Looking For

• Technical degree or diploma with 5 to 7 years of maintenance experience in a highly automated industrial setting.
• Hands-on experience with pneumatics, instrumentation, hydraulics, or vision systems.
• Familiarity with cGMP, FDA QSR, or ISO regulatory standards.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• PLC programming or electrical control systems experience.
• Experience leading continuous improvement projects.
