Location: Canterbury, Kent

Department: Maintenance

Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor / Head of Maintenance

Hours: Full Time Hours

Pay Rate: Maintenance Support - £12.90 (hourly rate)

Maintenance Support Opportunity

Our client is seeking a reliable and motivated Maintenance Support professional to help maintain machinery and equipment. This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys problem solving, working in a fast paced environment, and ensuring machinery runs efficiently with minimal downtime.

Purpose of the Role

To support the performance and upkeep of all machinery and equipment across the site, ensuring smooth daily operations and reducing downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain all machinery efficiently and hygienically.
  • Follow commissioning and preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Assist with repairs when required.
  • Carry out efficient tooling changes on East Site.
  • Conduct routine servicing on machines.
  • Keep machinery, tools, and working areas clean.
  • Report any issues to the Supervisor or Head of Maintenance.
  • Complete and submit the daily handover maintenance log.
  • Accurately book out all parts taken from stock.
  • Maintain a tidy, clean, and organised workshop.

Maintenance Support: £12.90 per hour

Skills & Experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Good understanding of Maths
Desirable
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Experience within the fruit or fresh produce industry
