This is what you'll be doing
The Maintenance Planning Engineer will play a key part in improving maintenance performance and engineering reliability across site. Working alongside the wider engineering function, you'll take ownership of the planning the planned maintenance tasks, whilst assisting in building the first CMMS system.
Responsibilities
Plan and prioritise maintenance work requests in line with site needs
Assist in the development of the site's CMMS.
Support and assist with reports and maintenance costs and asset downtime trends
Support health and safety across all engineering activity, including risk assessments
Assist and play a key part in continuous improvement activity and reliability planning
Ensure compliance with food safety and technical standards within engineering
Qualifications & Experience:
You'll ideally have an HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
(or be apprentice-trained/time-served with strong planning experience)
2+ years in a similar role within food, FMCG, or manufacturing
Confident using a CMMS to track and schedule work
Excellent communication skills - able to engage both technical and non-technical colleagues
Proficient in Microsoft Office
A proactive mindset and keen eye for process improvement
