Job Description

As a Maintenance Planner you will be tasked with the following;

  • Develop and manage maintenance schedules to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Maintain, operate and develop the businesses CMMS.
  • Coordinate with the engineering team to prioritise and allocate resources for maintenance activities.
  • Monitor and track the performance of maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including completed tasks and upcoming requirements.
  • Proactively identify and address potential maintenance issues to prevent equipment failures.
  • Collaborate with external contractors and suppliers to support maintenance operations.
  • Implement and improve maintenance planning processes for optimal results.
  • Support the Engineering & Manufacturing department with data analysis and reporting on equipment performance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Maintenance Planner should have:

  • Experience of running/using a CMMS system
  • Understanding of legal compliance requirements
  • Good health and safety knowledge
  • Time served in either mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Manufacturing background
