Maintenance Operative (Plumbing)

About The Role:

This role will deliver a range of plumbing and general maintenance tasks within the Quadram institute, ensuring a safe, compliant, and well maintained environment for colleagues, patients, and visitors. Duties include:

• Carrying out planned and reactive plumbing maintenance
• Supporting day to day building maintenance in a hospital/commercial setting.
• Completion of time records and compliance documentation
• Working in line with relevant policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Providing a high standard of customer service to clinical and non clinical teams.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude with experience using a variety of hand tools
• Good Fault / Problem solving skills
• Able to be part of a 4 week on call out rota

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing.
• Experience in commercial maintenance, ideally within healthcare.
• Ability to carry out a wide range of day to day maintenance tasks.
• A flexible, customer focused approach
• A full UK driving licence
• Desirable: additional skills in carpentry or electrical work.
