Skills
  • Demonstrated multi-skilled maintenance ability across carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and painting disciplines
  • Proven experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining building structures including floors, showers, sinks, walls, and roofs
  • Competence in adjusting and repairing door hardware, including locks and hinges
  • Experience in the installation and setup of domestic appliances
  • Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and report mechanical and electrical faults in a timely manner
  • Capability to safely move and handle furniture and equipment across multiple locations as required
  • Experience supporting contractor coordination, including sourcing quotes and liaising with external service providers
  • Strong technical proficiency, including confident use of a smartphone for email communication and accurate completion of digital maintenance logs via company apps
Responsibilities
  • Carry out general property repairs and maintenance, including painting, minor electrical and plumbing works, and upkeep of fixtures and fittings
  • Complete assigned work orders as directed by the Property Manager
  • Deliver all repairs efficiently, ensuring high standards of workmanship and quality
  • Source and procure required materials promptly to avoid delays in completing works
  • Undertake refurbishment works, including snagging and preparing vacant units for new occupancy
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the effective operation of the property
  • Provide daily updates to the Property Manager / Maintenance Manager on work progress, completed tasks, and any additional issues identified on site
  • Receive, assess, and manage maintenance requests, prioritising urgent issues while ensuring all tasks are addressed within appropriate timeframes
  • Support waste management processes, including ensuring timely bin collection and moving bins as required within and around the property
  • Maintain a strong awareness of Health & Safety standards, ensuring compliance at all times, and keep storage areas organised, safe, and well-maintained
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 3 years' experience
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including heat pump technology
  • Strong problem solving ability with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Full clean driver's licence is essential
