Maintenance Operative

About the Role

We are looking for a Maintenance Operative to join our team, working on farm machinery and site equipment. This is a hands on role involving mechanical maintenance, fitting work, and servicing conveyors and belt systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a mechanical background who is keen to develop their skills in a practical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with maintenance and repair of farm machinery
• Working on conveyors and belt systems
• Carrying out mechanical fitting and general maintenance tasks
• Supporting breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently

Requirements

• Mechanical background or relevant hands on experience
• Basic understanding of maintenance and fitting work
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
• Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional weekends

This role would suit someone who has worked as a mechanical engineer, mechanic, mechanical, maintenance engineer, engineer, trainee engineer, multiskilled engineer.
