Opened in December 2019, Ibis Styles is the 4th Accor property within Splendid Hospitality Group's portfolio. Situated on Great West Road, Hounslow; the hotel has taken inspiration from the architecture of West London's Golden Mile. This stylish 125-guest room hotel features glamorous Art Deco interior throughout combined with everything you expect from Ibis Styles including comfortable SweetBeds, creative design, a friendly team, and great rates.

The hotel is currently operating under an exclusive use agreement from the Government and therefore our hotel operations may look slightly different from what you may be used to in a traditional hotel environment.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated individual to handle a variety of tasks, including installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining the property's facilities and equipment, ensuring a safe and functional environment for our guests. This is a multi-tasking role that requires the ability to adapt quickly to ensure the smooth running of the property and satisfaction of our guests.

The ibis Styles Heathrow East is located on the outskirts of Hounslow, along the Great West Road. It has 125 well-appointed bedrooms, a full-service kitchen, and a restaurant.

Role in our Family

As a Maintenance Manager, your key responsibilities include:

• Undertaking and managing general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, telecommunications, heating, carpentry, and decorating
• Conducting routine inspections and handling basic repairs and maintenance
• Inspecting building structures, equipment, and assets, performing reactive and preventive maintenance
• Performing tasks with discretion to minimize disruption for guests and visitors
• Contributing to guest and visitor comfort
• Approaching tasks proactively with a can-do attitude
• Handling basic repairs, coordinating, and overseeing contractors and external providers
• Installing, inspecting, and troubleshooting equipment, appliances, and systems
• Maintaining and replacing heating, air conditioning, and distribution systems as needed
• Liaising with and supervising contractors and external providers
• Keeping records and maintaining a daily log of repairs and maintenance
• Applying hotel security regulations and championing environmental initiatives
• Ensuring safety and identifying areas for improvement
• Undertaking training to develop expertise in relevant areas
• Reporting stock levels
