Your new role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Maintenance Joiner to join a busy maintenance and refurbishment team operating across the East Belfast area. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for stable work within a well-established maintenance programme.The successful candidate will carry out a range of joinery repairs, installations, and maintenance works across residential and commercial properties. You will be expected to work independently and as part of a wider team, delivering high-quality workmanship while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a professional standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of maintenance joinery.
• Repair and install doors, frames, skirting and architraves.
• Undertake kitchen fitting and associated joinery works.
• Complete repairs to flooring, fencing, partitions, and timber structures.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance works.
• Identify defects and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of completed works.
• Provide excellent customer service when working in occupied properties.

What you'll need to succeed

Essential Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Joinery (or equivalent qualification).
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Joiner.
• Strong background in reactive and planned maintenance.
• Valid CSR Card.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible approach to work and willingness to undertake a variety of maintenance tasks.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience working within social housing, planned maintenance, or response maintenance environments.
• Multi-skilled maintenance experience.
• Additional trade skills such as plastering, tiling, or general building maintenance.
