Maintenance Engineer (Fabric/Painter and Decorator) (MC78)

Salary from £31,312 per annum with an annual increment up to £35,616 per annum.

Overview

Estates and Facilities Directorate

Maintenance Engineer (Fabric/Painter and Decorator) to work across the University. You will carry out operational support, conduct maintenance inspections and ensure compliance with statutory legislation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide operational maintenance support across university facilities.
  • Carry out maintenance inspections and identify remedial work.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory legislation and internal standards.
  • Participate in a roster covering 6 Saturdays per year; overtime and call outs may be required.
Qualifications and Requirements

You will need previous experience of building maintenance and installation in a similar role and will need to demonstrate that you meet the essential criteria in the person specification.

Location and Contract

This post is based at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, Norfolk, UK. This full-time post is available from 27 October 2025 on an indefinite basis.
