Agency Overview:We're partnering with a leading plastics manufacturing group operating across two key sites in North Wales (St Asaph & Flint). Due to continued growth, we're looking to hire two experienced Maintenance Engineers with strong electrical skills to support operations across both locations.
Role OverviewRole Overview:As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a critical role in keeping the building and production lines running smoothly. With a strong electrical focus, you'll carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on the facility as well as injection moulding and extrusion equipment, contribute to continuous improvement, and provide structured reporting to site leaders.
Key Responsibilities- Help to maintain 2 large manufacturing sites with PPM and reactive work
- Maintain & repair injection moulding machines, extrusion lines, and auxiliary equipment (e.g. chillers, compressors, robots).
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, including PLCs and control systems.
- Conduct regular inspections to prevent downtime and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with production to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Submit daily activity logs and weekly improvement reports.
- Support both St Asaph and Flint sites as required
- Strong electrical background, ideally within manufacturing
- Experience with PLC fault-finding/programming and control systems would be advantageous
- Familiarity with CMMS or digital maintenance tools.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus.
- Supervisory or mentoring experience is desirable.
- £42,000-£45,000 salary (depending on experience & energy)
