Location: Frome area, with easy commute from Bath, Bristol, Warminster, Trowbridge, Westbury, Bradford on Avon, Mells, Radstock, Midsomer Norton, Shepton Mallet, Wells, Glastonbury, Yeovil, Street, Castle Cary, Salisbury, Chippenham, Melksham, and Devizes.

Main Responsibilities of a Maintenance Engineer
  • Carry out fault finding, diagnosis and mechanical repairs
  • Support planned preventative maintenance in line with site schedules and budgets
  • Improve plant reliability and maximize equipment uptime
  • Assist with installation, servicing and adjustment of mechanical components
  • Conduct daily inspections and ensure timely resolution of breakdowns
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records in line with company standards
Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer
  • Background in mechanical fitting, automotive mechanics, or agricultural engineering
  • Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
  • Comfortable working in a hands on, fast paced industrial environment
  • Ability to work night shifts as part of a team
  • Willingness to develop skills through training and upskilling
  • Experience in industrial maintenance is advantageous but not essential
