£45,000 - £47,000 + Benefits DAYS ONLY Sunday to Thursday, 7am-3pm Manchester

We are working with a well-established manufacturer in Manchester seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support a modern production facility. The business is known for developing engineers internally and offering clear long-term career pathways.

Working within a manufacturing environment, you'll support both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Mechanical Maintenance, helping to ensure equipment and machinery operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out mechanical PPMs on production and manufacturing equipment

• Assisting with mechanical breakdowns and fault-finding

• Working on components such as bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, pumps, and conveyors

• Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects

• Working closely with senior engineers to develop technical capability

This is a Sunday to Thursday, 7am-3pm shift, offering consistent hours and work-life balance.

• Multi Skilled Engineer (either electrical or mechanical bias)

• Some experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial environments (training provided)

• Will suit someone looking to learn, develop, and progress

• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic

• £45,000 - £47,000 salary (dependent on experience)

• Sunday to Thursday, 7am-3pm shift pattern
