The Maintenance Engineer at SUSHISAMBA and Duck & Waffle is an important role for the operation of our restaurants and shared services areas.

- Respond to engineering and maintenance concerns
- Perform and/or monitor reactive maintenance, planned works and PPM
- Respond to all building related safety concerns
- Maintain departmental compliance with company maintenance procedures
- Support company departmental maintenance programs and execute daily, weekly and monthly checklists
- Assist in the supervision of temporary maintenance contractors
- Assist management in specifying proper supplies and equipment for operations
- Maintain all areas in good repair by performing tasks related to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting and tiling to ensure an attractive and well maintained site
- Must possess knowledge of basic hand/power tool operation
- Previous restaurant or hotel maintenance department experience
- At least 3 years experience in a similar capacity
- Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry concepts
- Availability to respond to emergencies when not physically at the job site
- Experience with carpentry, refrigeration and mechanics is a plus
