About Our Client

One of the UK's largest food manufacturers with over 13,000 employees across 16 sites. Our client has a strong presence in poultry, chilled and bakery, they also have a known reputation for working with popular brands.

Job Description

• You will be required to carry out daily mechanical and electrical maintenance on machinery and production equipment
• Ensure the work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations using Safe Systems of Work
• Proactively looking for new, improved ways of working
• Proposing corrective actions to prevent recurring issues

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off pattern, 4 Days and 4 Nights

The Successful Applicant

• Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering techniques.
• Knowledge of site services, CIP, refrigeration, steam boilers, water and effluent monitoring are desirable but not essential.
• NVQ Level 3 Qualified at a minimum
• Experience of working in reactive maintenance roles
• Strong interpersonal skills: a team player who is prepared to support fellow engineers and can also develop good relationships with colleagues in departments across the business.
