Shift: 4on 4off 6-6 days and nights rotation

Job title: Maintenance Engineer - (Both mechanical OR electrical skill sets are considered)

Location: near Consett

Overtime: 1.5 Mon-Fri and double on Sundays

Holidays: 20 days

Benefits: x2 salary death in service, Pension scheme, annual pay negotiated each year.

Overview

With manufacturing facilities located across the UK you will be working in a clean, modern manufacturing environment that will involve projects, installations along with planned and re active maintenance.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role
  • To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
  • Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
  • PPM's
The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
  • Time served apprenticeship
  • Educated in a relevant engineering discipline - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND etc.
  • Previous experience maintaining machinery in a manufacturing environment - both mechanical and/or electrical skills are considered.
Commutable from

Consett, Stanley, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Durham and surrounding areas.
