Shift: Mon-Fri (8.00am - 6.30pm) - (45 hrs per week) - Some flexibility around work hours if required

Holidays: 20 days + 8 bank holidays

Benefits: Pension, Medical Care Insurance after 3 months employment

Overview:

Working for a very reputable production company, we now require a Maintenance Engineer to work in a fast-paced, automated, production environment that will involve projects, installations along with planned and re-active maintenance. Both mechanical and electrical engineers will be considered.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:
  • To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
  • Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
  • PPM's
The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
  • Time served apprenticeship
  • Strong Maintenance background, working within automated manufacturing/ production environment or similar
  • Educated in a relevant engineering discipline - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND etc
Commutable from:

Greenwich, Deptford, Woolwich, Blackheath, Peckham and surrounding areas
