The basics:

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical

Location: near Belper

Shift: Monday-Friday (7.00am-3.30pm)

Salary: £41,065 + Bonus + Overtime = Earnings of up to £45,000

Bonus: From 6 months onwards = up to 10% of salary, up to £300 production bonus per quarter, up to £60 health and safety bonus per quarter and up to £1,500 per annum additional bonus.

Overtime rates: x1.5 Mon-Sat and x2 Sunday

Benefits: up to 10% pension contribution, x3 salary death in service, Canteen, Uniform, Bonus.

Overview:

Working for a large manufacturing business that have plants across the world we now require a Maintenance Engineer to join the day shift mechanical team.

The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following experiences, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • Time served apprenticeship
  • Strong Mechanical Maintenance background, working within automated manufacturing/ production environment or similar
  • Knowledge and understanding of Gear Boxes, Motors and Conveyors
  • Educated in a relevant engineering discipline - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND etc

Commutable from: Chesterfield, Alfreton, Clay Cross, Belper, Buxton and surrounding areas.
