NES Fircroft are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer for our client, who are a lead industrial user of additive manufacturing.

Location: Worcester
Contract position
Pay rate: £28/hour
Shifts: 7am-3pm Mon-Fri
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out timely repairs.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to minimize disruption.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Monitor inventory of spare parts and tools, and coordinate procurement as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant technical qualification (e.g., HNC/HND, NVQ, or equivalent in Engineering or related field).
- Experience in industry-specific experience, e.g., manufacturing, food processing, pharmaceuticals .
- Certification in health and safety (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH) Advantageous
- PLC troubleshooting and programming knowledge.
- On-call availability for emergency repairs.
