Assignments
For one of our clients in the nuclear sector, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer - Welding Section to support maintenance and repair activities.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Organizing, preparing and planning welding, piping and equipment repair works
- Assisting the maintenance section with continuous improvement initiatives and technical event analyses
- Following up field interventions, including in confined spaces (tanks, exchangers) and controlled zones
- Researching and analyzing technical documentation and archive records
- Challenging findings and defining actions with relevant technical staff
The profile
You are a mechanical, electromechanical or welding engineer with at least 2 years of experience in technical project coordination under strict quality assurance frameworks. You have knowledge of construction codes and standards, and familiarity with pressure and steam equipment regulations (Federal, Regional, ASME) is a plus.
You are proactive, safety-oriented, collaborative, assertive, and have strong analytical and synthesis skills. You are fluent in French and proficient with Microsoft Office and SAP.
