Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias

The RoleWe are seeking a Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join our clients dynamic engineering team. You will play a key role in ensuring our production machinery and facilities run smoothly, minimising downtime and supporting continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults, ensuring compliance with safety standards

• Support production teams with technical issues to maintain efficiency

• Contribute to continuous improvement projects within the manufacturing process

• Work collaboratively with other engineers and departments to deliver high-quality results

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, ideally within a manufacturing environment

• Strong electrical knowledge (fault finding, wiring, PLC awareness beneficial)

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Flexible approach to working hours, including every other Saturday at enhanced pay

• Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
