We now need to strengthen our team and have the below requirement to join our plant in Birkenhead/Wirral.
Experienced Multi Skilled (Elec Bias) Maintenance Engineer to manage all aspects of facility and asset maintenance to ensure the plant drives for operational excellence, attaining greater success in safety, quality, and productivity.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support the maintenance coordinator in the implementation of the strategic plan.
- Ensure production is optimized to improve key figures and customer satisfaction.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.
- Lead safety as a priority across the plant.
- Ensure planned maintenance activities are performed.
- Perform machine breakdown repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Implement and install manufacturer modifications and updates.
Education/Experience:
- Electrical qualifications are essential; apprentice trained preferred.
- Experience with computer control systems on machinery.
- Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with PLC programming.
