Your New Job:In this hands on position, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting a wide range of manufacturing equipment. This role operates on a shift rotation (6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm) with periodic on call weeks. You'll collaborate closely with a skilled team to ensure top equipment performance and support plant operation goals.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:- Plan, install, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and equipment
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and operational issues
- Advise production teams to optimise plant efficiency
- Work from drawings and install electrical devices to required standards
- Monitor equipment function, identifying hazards or adjustment needs
- Team with internal colleagues and external contractors as needed
- Comply with safety and quality procedures at all times
- Participate in shift rotations and on-call schedules
- Electrical Trade Qualification with minimum 1 years' experience
- Fault-finding and troubleshooting skills in an industrial setting
- Familiarity with PM software
- Self motivated and able to work independently
- Flexibility, teamwork, and strong communication
- Ability to carry out shift work and manual duties
- Proactive approach and solid safety awareness
