Job Description

We are seeking multiple proactive and skilled Maintenance Engineers to support the Engineering Team in delivering a robust maintenance program across our pet food production facility. This role is key to ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily planned, predictive, and condition-based maintenance on production equipment.
- Provide rapid response to breakdowns and support production teams to minimize downtime.
- Assist with project work, improvement initiatives, and contractor management.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and site standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and safety incidents.
- Support training and development of self and others within the team.
- Promote efficient use of engineering stores and control maintenance costs.
- Collaborate closely with production teams to drive performance and reliability.
- Uphold high standards of hygiene, housekeeping, and technical documentation.

Duration: Permenant full-time role only.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hourly Rate: £45,000 per year salary (£20.55 p/h)

Working Hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern12 hour shiftsDays and Nights requiredRotating shift patterns:4 Days 0600 - 18004 off4 Nights 1800 - 0600

Experience & Qualifications

- Must have both Mechanical and electrical experience level 3 (Apprentice trained or relevant engineering qualifications.)
