Mainframe Developer (CICS)/Belgium/550 Euros pd

Fluent Dutch or French speaking Mainframe Developer required for a 1-year mission based in Antwerp.

To start ASAP.

Hybrid - minimum 2 days per week onsite.

550 Euros per day

You will work in the agile Mainframe team, responsible for the technical analysis, development, component testing, bug fixing and support of our Mainframe/CICS application, which is used for managing insurance policies, claims and finance.

Tasks:

• Work in close cooperation within the agile team to realize the best possible solution within every different context
• Interpret the requirements you receive and translate it into qualitative development, adhering to the predefined guidelines in terms of quality, best practices, budget and scope
• Develope software in Cobol V5 on IBM Z/OS Mainframe
• Understand the technical architecture and can re-use technical components
• Document the software you have developed
• Offer occasional third and second-line support.
• Actively contribute to the agile way of working.
• Perm the required analytical work, technical implementation, and quality assurance testing

Mandatory skills:

• You have significant experience (5+ years) in Cobol programming
• IBM Mainframe
• CICS
• VSAM
• Batch
• RDZ
• JCL
• SDSF(2)
