Pertemps are currently recruiting Mail Sorters to work at Royal Mail's Sheffield Mail Centre on a temporary assignment.
This is a great opportunity for anyone looking for evening work, additional income, or a temporary role with a well-known and established organisation.
What will you be doing?
As a Mail Sorter, your main responsibilities will include:
Sorting incoming and outgoing mail and parcels
Loading and unloading mail cages and containers
Moving mail safely around the site
Preparing mail for dispatch
Working to set deadlines to ensure mail is processed efficiently
Following all health, safety and security procedures
Maintaining a clean and organised working area
Working Hours
Monday - Friday 18:00 - 22:00
What we're looking for
You don't necessarily need previous mail-sorting experience - full training will be provided.
We're looking for people who are:
Reliable and punctual
Comfortable working at a fast pace
Physically fit, as the role involves standing, walking and moving mail
Able to work well as part of a team
Flexible and willing to get stuck in
Available to commit to the required shift pattern
Must have own safety boots and high viz vest
