Mail Sorter

We are currently recruiting reliable and hard-working Parcel Sorters to join a fast-paced parcel distribution centre in Wakefield, based at the Yorkshire Parcel Hub.

Job Duties:

• Sorting parcels by postcode and destination
• Loading and unloading parcels from vans and conveyor belts
• Ensuring accurate handling of parcels to avoid damages
• Keeping the warehouse clean and safe
• Working to tight deadlines in a team environment

Working Days & Hours:

• 2pm - 10pm shift ONLY
• £13.07 per hour
• Monday - Friday with occasional weekend overtime when available
• This role is being offered on a temporary ongoing basis

Requirements:

• Good level of physical fitness - heavy lifting may be involved
• Punctual and dependable
• Ability to work at a fast pace
• Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not essential - full training provided!
