MAGICAL Daily Nanny position for Baby and Toddler on the beach in Bracklesham Bay, West Sussex

Overview

The family is looking for an enthusiastic and caring Nanny to join in mid May. The role involves care for the first child and, from September, the soon to come second baby. Duties include Monday to Thursday 8am - 5.15pm and Friday 8am - 1.15pm, with occasional flexible shifts, overnight stays (paid as overtime or time in lieu), and travel with the family (2 3 weeks per year).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, organized and tidy child friendly environment.
• Plan ahead and support the children's routines, including attendance of pre booked classes such as Music and Gymnastics.
• Explore outdoors in the garden and on the beach.
• Keep children's areas organized and manage children's laundry.
• Prepare nutritious meals for the children and support weaning of the baby when appropriate.
• Plan and coordinate holidays, family days out and appointments.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Nanny with Level 3 or higher.
• Minimum 2 years experience caring for infants and young children.
• Knowledge of child development and encouragement of milestones.
• Previous experience working as a Nanny with infants.
• Organized, reliable and conscientious.
• Confident driver; car available on duty.
• Enhanced DBS and Paediatric First Aid certification required; a Qualified Nanny is preferred.
• Up to date enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service.
• 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
• At least two professional referees, one of whom must be a former employer.
• Appropriate personal insurance is recommended.

Schedule

Monday - Thursday 8am - 5.15pm; Friday 8am - 1.15pm.

Full time permanent position (approximately 37 hours per week).

Location

Beachside in Bracklesham Bay, near Chichester, West Sussex.

Compensation

£28,000 - £38,000 per annum depending on experience.
